Our website, https://villavilo.com (hereinafter «the website»), is a static site: it runs no program on the server, it has no forms and no user registration, and it uses no first-party cookies of any kind. Nor does it use any analytics, advertising or tracking tools. In this document we explain what does happen and how you can control it.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file sent along with the pages of a website that your browser stores on the hard drive of your computer or other device. The stored information can be returned to our servers or to the servers of the relevant third parties on a subsequent visit.
What are scripts?
A script is a piece of program code used to make a website work properly and interactively. This code runs on the server or on your device. The only script on this website is a file of our own that opens the menu on mobile and the photo gallery viewer; it is served from our own domain and neither stores nor transmits any information.
What is a web beacon?
A web beacon (or pixel tag) is a small, invisible piece of text or image embedded in a website that is used to monitor traffic and store various data about the visitor. This website does not use web beacons.

None. We set no technical, preference, statistics, marketing or tracking cookies. Nor do we store anything in your browser’s local storage. That is why we do not show you a cookie consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Third-party content: none
This website loads no content served by third parties. Everything your browser downloads when you visit it —pages, stylesheets, fonts, images and the single script— comes from our own domain. There are no embedded frames, no external videos, no social media buttons, no Google fonts and no analytics.
The location map shown in the footer of every page and on the Booking page is an image, a screenshot of Google Maps hosted on our own server. Looking at it generates no request to Google. If you click on it, Google Maps opens in a new tab, and only then, and because you chose to, are you on a Google website, subject to the Google privacy policy and its information about cookies.
Managing and deleting cookies
